The first day

Lhasa downtown is about 1.5 hours drive from Lhasa airport. On the way from the airport to downtown, you can see the Yarlung Zangbo River. It is the largest River in Tibet. Because some people may have altitude sickness experience in Tibet, customers need to take some rest after we received at hotel.

The second day
Lhasa-Mira Yamaguchi-Nyingchi
We will visit Mira Yamaguchi on our way to Nyingchi. It is a famous attration between Lhasa and Nyingchi. Nyingchi is also known as Linzhi is a prefecture-level city in southeast of the Tibet Autonomous Region. The administrative seat of Nyingchi is Bayi District. It takes about 10 hours to travel from Lhasa to Nyingchi by road. The railway between Lhasa and Nyingchi has begun to build since late 2014. It is estimated that it will take about 2 or 3 hours from Lhasa to Nyingchi when the railway come into operation. The prefecture-level city contains the Namcha Barwa Peak, and the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon, located in Mêdog County, which attracts significant tourism and geoscientific and biological study to the area. There is an attraction called Kadinggou Scenic Spot is in Nyingchi County. After visiting there, we will rest in a hotel at Nyingchi.

The Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple
The Potala Palace is included in the first important national cultural relics protection list. It is the world’s largest and most intact ancient castle-style complex located on the highest altitude. A grand stele and commemorating the architectural achievements of ancient Tibetans, the Potala Palace is truly a cultural treasure of the Chinese nation.
The Jokhang is located on Barkhor Square in Lhasa, the capital city of the country of Tibet. For most Tibetans it is the most sacred and important temple in Tibe. According to tradition, the temple was built for the two brides of the king, Princess Wencheng of the Chinese Tang dynasty and Princess Bhrikuti of Nepal. Both wives are said to have brought important Buddhist statues and images from China and Nepal to Tibet as part of their dowries, and they were housed here. Initially, many Nepalese artists worked to construct this temple.

Lhasa-Namtso Lake-Lhasa
Namtso, or Lake Nam, is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet Autonomous Region and should not be missed by any traveler to Tibet. In Tibetan, Namtso means "Heavenly Lake." It is famous for its high altitude and imposing scenery.

The seventh day
Samye Monastery
Samye Monastery was the first monastery built in Tibet, and the place where Tibetan Buddhism was established. Inside the monastery there are numerous frescos, sculptures, and prayer wheels. The monastery is set in a valley surrounded by barren mountains and sand dunes. The scenery around is austerely striking. Visiting Samye Monastery, the birthplace of Tibetan Buddhism, you can experience a different culture.

The eighth day
Barkhor Street
Barkhor Street is Lhasa’s pilgrimage circuit around Jokhang Temple. The street is also a busy shopping street, selling a mind-blogging array of souvenirs from Tibet and Nepal. Join the pilgrims as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple to roll the prayer wheels, or join the locals or travelers haggling hard over souvenirs. Most travelers stroll around this street after a visit to Jokhang Temple. Allow plenty of time to explore the local shops. All shops on the street close early in the evenings.
